Leaving consulting for Fortune 100
experience, he was able to add wide area connectivity and messaging
to his background. His messaging experience would eventually include
cc:Mail, Lotus Notes, InterMail, Post.Office, Microsoft Mail and
Microsoft Exchange. His wide area connectivity experience includes
hubs, switches, cabling and routers and related management software
and peripherals. He later added the Microsoft Backoffice products to
his network operating system and messaging knowledge. Neil went on
to receive his MCPS, MCSE, and MCT certifications from Microsoft. He
has also continued to broaden his knowledge of Microsoft's suite of
products while continuing to deepen his current product knowledge.
Neil also met the requirements and
was conferred as a Certified Network Professional (CNP) which
requires the demonstration of the core fundamentals of networked
computing, expertise in multiple areas of specialty, networked
computing experience, adherence to a code of ethics and the
demonstrated commitment to the networked computing profession.
Neil’s development experience started
in 1986 using Pascal, C, d-Base and FoxPro. He now spends most of
his development time in web enabled application development using
HTML, Java, and SQL. His goals have him to build on these current
skill sets.
Neil Currently works as a consultant
in network architecture design and implementation, messaging
implementation, and network migration. He also works in messaging
design and implementation and spends much of his time working with
database design, administration and integration. He also works as a
Microsoft Certified Trainer for various Microsoft Certified
Technical Education Centers across the country and for direct
corporate clients. His background, experience and diversity gives
him the ability to help be a solid productive member of any
companies information technology team.
